Artist statement

I have (something) a lot to say explores my lived experience as a gay man, celebrating LGBTQ+ life while confronting the discrimination I faced in my teens and early adulthood.

In this work I use advertising and protest/graffiti aesthetics in a three-dimensional form to challenge conventional narratives and reclaim derogatory language against the gay community. By reclaiming and transforming, my work aims to spark reflection and contemplation on a dark past, future social change and personal expression.
